Steven leads the vision and long-term direction of Carolina One. He has spent 35 years starting, building, and scaling companies.
His focus here is simple: build a basketball program that actually develops players.
That starts with coaching. Better coaches build better players, so Carolina One trains, mentors, and evaluates its coaches instead of just filling benches.
Winning matters. But never at the expense of development.
The goal is to build a culture of continuous improvement... our players, our coaches, and us as an organization. If we expect our players to keep getting better, we have to expect the same from ourselves.
Steven's job is to build the foundation underneath all of it... so the standards don't change, communication is clear and consistent, the experience doesn't depend on who is coaching, and the focus always remains on player development.
He is a father of five and looks at Carolina One the same way he would if his own child were in the gym.
Anthony George

Carolina ONE Basketball Club
Anthony George is a longtime basketball coach, program builder, and leader in the Greater Charlotte basketball community. His coaching career has included stops at the high school, prep, grassroots, and collegiate levels, with a consistent focus on player development and creating meaningful opportunities for athletes.
In 2016, George founded Lady Attack Basketball Club, growing the organization over the next decade and helping establish a strong development pathway for girls throughout the Carolinas. He expanded his impact through Carolina Courts, where he currently serves as Head of Basketball Operations and helps oversee basketball programming, development, and organizational growth.
George is a Co-Founder of Carolina ONE Basketball Club, bringing together his experience in coaching, program development, and leadership to help build a premier girls basketball organization. His vision for Carolina ONE centers on creating an environment where players are challenged to develop, coaches are empowered to lead, and families experience a program built around consistency, communication, opportunity, and a high standard of excellence.
Giavonni Mack

Coach Giavonni Mack is a dedicated basketball coach, trainer, and program leader with 8 years of coaching experience and more than 10 years of experience training and developing athletes.
Coach Mack is the Head of Girls Basketball at Charlotte Latin School and the Founder and Owner of Mack Basketball and now Carolina ONE basketball club, a girls-focused travel basketball organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since starting Mack Basketball in 2021, he has helped grow the program into a competitive organization with teams competing at the highest levels of grassroots basketball, including the Under Armour Rise Circuit.
A former college and professional basketball player, Coach Mack brings a player's perspective to his coaching and development philosophy. His playing career included competing at Texas Southern University, where he was part of a SWAC championship team and NCAA Tournament program, and UNC Pembroke, where he competed in the Peach Belt Conference and was apart of 2 Peach Belt Conference championships. He also played professionally in Istanbul, Turkey.
As a coach, Mack is passionate about developing fundamentally sound, confident, and intelligent players. His approach emphasizes skill development, decision-making, basketball IQ, leadership, and preparation, while creating an environment where athletes can grow both on and off the court.
Through coaching, training, and mentorship, Coach Mack's goal is to help young women become better basketball players, stronger leaders, and more confident individuals.

I am a partner at Carolina Courts and a proud Appalachian State University alumnus. Since 1995, I've called Union County home, where I've raised my three children and deeply rooted myself in this community. I absolutely love what I do every single day, bringing passion and dedication to my business. When I'm not at work you can almost always find me outdoors training and showing my horse.
